It is high summer in Stockholm, where the Nordic light barely gives way to darkness. Late one night, two police officers respond to an alarm at an isolated summer house in the archipelago, but find only an empty building. The following day, both are discovered brutally murdered, marking the beginning of a terrifying series of attacks on police officers.

Respected investigator Thomas Berg (Jakob Oftebro) leads the case. As the killer continues to strike, Thomas turns to his estranged father Alfred (Peter Andersson), a once celebrated detective, now an outcast, whom he has not spoken to for years because of a bitter conflict.
